Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
These terms govern your use of estie.net and any services purchased through it. By using this site or engaging estie.net's services, you agree to what's below. If you don't agree, don't use the site.
Services
estie.net provides custom AI assistants and automation systems for small businesses. Specific scope, timeline, deliverables, and payment terms for any engagement are defined in a separate written agreement before work begins. This page sets the ground rules around that agreement — it doesn't replace it.
Payment
Fees, payment schedules, and accepted methods are specified per engagement in the written agreement. Diagnostic fees are due upfront. Invoices past 14 days may pause active work until paid.
Refunds
Diagnostic fees are non-refundable once work begins — you're paying for the time and analysis, not a guaranteed outcome. If you proceed to a Build engagement within 90 days, the diagnostic fee is credited toward the Build. Build work is refundable for any portion not yet started. Completed work is non-refundable.
What You Own
You own everything estie.net builds for you. Systems are set up on your accounts, on your infrastructure, under your control. estie.net doesn't retain access after handoff unless you explicitly ask for ongoing support.
What estie.net Keeps
estie.net keeps the right to reuse general patterns, approaches, and non-confidential methodology in future work. Your data, your business specifics, and anything you've marked confidential are never reused or shared.
Third-Party Services
Solutions typically rely on third-party services (Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, n8n, Firebase, Plivo, Retell, others). You're responsible for their subscription costs and subject to their terms. Their outages, price changes, or policy changes are outside estie.net's control.
Limitation of Liability
estie.net does its best to build reliable systems, but software has bugs and AI makes mistakes. Total liability for any engagement is capped at the fees paid for that engagement. estie.net is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — lost revenue, lost opportunities, lost data — arising from use of the systems built.
Your Responsibilities
You're responsible for the accuracy of information you share, for complying with laws that apply to your business (including how you use AI with customers), and for monitoring the systems once handed off. estie.net will show you how they work — running them is on you.
Changes
These terms may be updated. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version. Material changes to an active engagement require your agreement in writing.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts of New Jersey.
