I build AI agents around recurring work, starting with how the work is already happening. Some of it is visible in the tools you use. Some of it is in your head: what you check before moving on and when the usual next step does not apply.
I need to understand both before I can tell what should stay and what's missing.
I use AI to search across the ideas, methods, and examples I've collected from other people. Then I compare why each worked in its original setting and decide what actually fits this workflow. I keep researching as the pieces come together.
One workflow I built this way.
I already had one place for all my tasks. Most mornings, my Morning Briefing showed me what was in motion and what had happened the day before. What I still needed was a way to decide what to focus on that day.
I researched daily planners to see how they handled that decision. I liked how some of them turned a full task list into a short plan for today, so I built Daily Focus into the system I already had.
The first version included weekly objectives. Once I saw everything together, they were taking up the space I needed for today's list, so I took them back out.
Now I use the briefing to choose what to do next in Daily Focus. When I finish something or move it to another day, the next briefing starts with the updated task list.
When I build for you.
Most of our work happens in writing. I collect my questions and send them together, so you can answer on your schedule.
Before I connect the AI agent to your workflow, you decide what information it may use and what it may do. I test where it should stop so you can decide what happens next.
I build the setup in accounts you control. When I hand it over, I give you a written guide and a recorded walkthrough, then remove my access. The finished setup stays with you.
